A series of 3-5 minute clips designed to augment classroom lessons and explore Jewish diversity, through glimpses into Sephardic Jews and Mizrahi Jews. Each clip expands a standard curricular item, from Jewish holidays and Jewish philosophy to Tanakh and Talmud, by presenting the Jewish history, attitude, and approach of the Greater Sephardi world. Each clip, edited by a scholar, comes with background for the teacher and suggested uses and conversation-starters in the classroom. Online pre-recorded courses for continuing learners focusing on less-studied aspects of Jewish history, Sephardic customs, Mizrahi culture and the arts. The courses are taught by scholars from across the United States, Canada, Israel, England, Morocco, Portugal, and more. Presenters include anthropologists, educators, choreographers, musicians, historians, paytanists, linguists and more. Each course, which runs 6-7 hours total, is broken down into 8-10 minute lessons, with self-checks and supplemental readings.
