The Inquisition of Lima, Peru

The Inquisition of Lima Files are some of the most important ones because this Tribunal was responsible for a large portion of South America. The problem is that they have not been Digitized nor indexed.

Many are missing yet I was told in person that the collection contains 70 Boxes.

The information here comes from one book that was written while sitting iiside the National Library in the late 1800s and transcribed. That is how we come to the information. I do not feel it is complete and every author usually includes only what is available at the time

Los Archivos de la Inquisición de Lima son de los más importantes porque este Tribunal fue responsable de una gran parte de América del Sur. El problema es que no se han digitalizado ni indexado.

Muchos han desaparecido, pero me dijeron en persona que la colección contiene 70 cajas que es bastante poco

La información aquí proviene de un libro que se escribió mientras el autor estaba sentado dentro de la Biblioteca Nacional a fines del siglo XIX y ahi transcribió lo que habia disponible. Así es como llegamos a la información. No creo que esté completo y cada autor generalmente incluye solo lo que está disponible en ese momento.
